expert falconer - George Pile - George
is not your average teenager, and is making
a name for himself thanks to his skills and
knowledge of Birds of Prey. George is one
of Britain's youngest ever full-time, professional
falconers. He owns and now breeds a growing
number of birds, as well as developing his
own Falconry business in the heart of Exmoor. |
Already
in demand, George displays his beautiful
birds - Buzzards, Harris Hawks, Falcons
and Owls - at shows up and down the country.
He has appeared at Dinosaur Park (near Combe
Martin). |
| George
became a fully trained falconer at just 13
and now breeds his own birds at his Exmoor
home in the National Park. "It is a lot
of hard work, but I love it and want to make
a life of it" he says. |
| Experienced
falconers have commented that George has the
most incredible understanding and knowledge
of his birds, and he appears to have a natural
ability to handle and rear them, these things
cannot be learned. |
